Keen English Bible Collection 

This is a collection of over seven hundred English Versions and Revisions of the New Testament, Old Testament or the complete Bible. Out of a possible 275 Translations, the Keen Collection contains 225. It contains 68 English Translations of the Gospels, the Epistles and the Psalms.

Among the outstanding First Editions are Matthews Bible of 1537, the Taverner Bible of 1539, the Geneva Bible of 1560, the Bishops Bible of 1568, the Rheims New Testament of 1582, the King James Version of 1611, and the Douai Old Testament of 1609-1610. The collection also includes Short Bibles, Translations of the Apocrypha, Vulgate Texts, and a collection of Resultant Greek Texts of the New Testament.

All of the Bibles housed in this collection were collected by Paul Edwin Keen, Professor of New Testament and Exegesis at the Evangelical Theological Seminary from 1927 to 1957.

Also in the Keen Bible Room is the personal library of Bishop John Seybert, an Evangelical Association bishop of the mid-nineteenth century.
