Reserves

Books placed on reserve by professors are shelved behind each circulation desk and are available for use only in the library during the times the library is open. Each location of the library maintains a reserve collection for classes taught at that location.

•  Reserve items are signed out for use and returned to the circulation desk.
• A reserve item may be used for no more than two (2) hours at a time by a single user. It is renewable for an additional consecutive two-hour period.
• Most reserve items may be charged out for over-night use one hour before closing time and must be returned the next day at the time the library opens.

Closed reserve items - specifically, professor's personal copies, reference books, and books borrowed from other libraries - are also shelved behind the circulation desk and may not leave the library.

 A notebook with lists of items on reserve for courses taught at that location is maintained at each circulation desk. Lists may also be found through the web pages of individual professors at Garrett-Evangelical and Seabury-Western.
